Welcome to RAPID Leamington

We formed after the Environment Agency and Warwick District Council authorities failed to act appropriately on a major public health and environmental issue over a 1.5+ year period which started in April 2023. 

We aim to work with regulatory bodies to put a stop to the horrific outfall from a Waste Recycling Plant in Warwickshire which includes:

• Inconceivably large fly infestations in homes 
• Intolerable Smells
• Industrial noises 
• Gulls circling the plant
• Microplastic pollution (airborne and in water)

This pollution which has caused significant health, environmental and economic damage and is causing ongoing daily suffering for thousands of people who live in the densely populated residential area it has been given permission to operate in.

We understand authorities including Warwick District Council and The Environment Agency are under resourced in times of austerity, however that should never stop a public health emergency of this level being dealt with appropriately and in a timely manner.
